ZANEWOOD COMMUNITY SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST 2019-20

Please be aware that some items are shared and throughout the year some items may need to be replenished. 

KINDERGARTEN SUPPLIES

There are a few items that your child needs to bring to school when school starts. Some of these items will be stored at school in a “cubby”; some will be shared. The items needed are as follows:

___      1 Zanewood assignment notebook (to be purchased at school/open house night $2.00)

___      3 pocket folders with fasteners inside -1 yellow, 1 blue, and 1green

___      2 spiral wide rule notebook

___      2 boxes of regular size crayons (24 count)

___      1 pack of #2 regular size pencils (not colored)

___      2 4 oz. bottle of Elmer’s glue or equivalent brand (not gel or paste)

___      2 glue sticks

___      1 pair blunt scissors (round edge)

___      1 plastic school box

___      2 regular size box of Kleenex or equivalent brand

___      2 8 oz. bottles of hand sanitizer

___      1 set of water color paints Crayola or equivalent brand

___      1 set of Crayola washable markers or equivalent brand (BASIC colors)

___      1 backpack or book bag – large enough for carrying a 13 x 13 notebook

___      1 pair of tennis shoes for gym

First Grade

1 Zanewood assignment notebook (cost $2.00) can be purchast at school/open house

2 wide line Composition notebooks (can be purchased at school for .50 cents each)

1 box of regular size crayons (24 count only)

1 4oz bottle of ELMERS glue or equivalent quality

3 glue sticks

2 large size boxes of Kleenex 

1 large size bottle of hand sanitizer (voluntary donation)

1 pair of tennis shoes for gym

1 school bag to carry things home (NO wheels)

 

SECOND GRADE

1 Zanewood assignment notebook (cost $2.00) (can be purchased at school/open house)

2 wide-lined, one subject spiral notebook                                            

4 2-pocket folders 1 yellow, 1 red, 1 blue and 1 green                  

1 box regular size crayons (24 Count)  

40 plain #2 pencils

1 pair scissors

1 plastic school box

4 glue sticks (NO liquid glue)

2 regular size boxes of Kleenex or equivalent quality

1 large bottle of hand sanitizer (voluntary donation)

1 pair of tennis shoes for gym

1 school bag to carry things home

1 Headphones or Earbuds

(NO “TRAPPER KEEPERS”, NO ART BOXES AND NO PERMANENT OR GLITTER MARKERS)

 

THIRD GRADE

  • 1 Zanewood assignment notebook ($5.00 and can be purchased at school)

  • 1 set of headphones (ear buds will work but headphones are preferred)

  • 2 wide-lined composition notebooks ($0.50 and can be purchased at school)

  • 6 two pocket folders in each of the following colors:

1- red, 1-orange, 1-yellow, 1-green, 1-blue, 1-green, 1-purple

  • 6 wide-lined, one subject, spiral notebooks in the following colors:

1- red, 1-orange, 1-yellow, 1-green, 1-blue, 1-green, 1-purple

  • 100 plain sharpened #2 pencils

  • 1 pair of scissors

  • 1 centimeter/inch ruler

  • 1 set of Crayola washable markers

  • 2 packs of Crayola colored pencils

  • 6 glue sticks

  • 1 bottle of Elmer’s glue

  • 1 pack of large erasers

  • 1 pack of wide-lined, loose leaf paper

  • 1 plastic school box

  • 2 tubes of disinfecting wipes- Clorox or equivalent quality

  • 2 boxes of Kleenex brand tissues or equivalent

  • 1 large (1 liter) hand sanitizer

  • 1 school bag

  • 1 pair of tennis shoes (to leave at school)

  • $5.00 classroom donation for special projects

Donations of the following supplies would be greatly appreciated:

Duct tape, clear packing tape, extra tubes of Clorox wipes, extra Kleenex, extra hand sanitizer

 

FOURTH GRADE

1 box colored pencils (12 count)

1 box washable markers (8 count)

1 ruler (centimeter/inch)

1 set of earbuds or headphones -This is a Must! ($1 at dollar stores)

2 wide-lined, one subject notebooks

1 pack of wide lined, loose leaf notebook paper

1TI Explorer Plus calculator (this model is optional, but will be useful in Jr. High and High school)

1 pack of colored pencils

1 pair of Ear Buds This is a Must! ($1 at dollar stores)

1 dry erase marker (for use on white board)

1 eraser – pink or green work best
