Media Center -Shelve books, stamp new arrivals, and organize paperbacks.
Sewing Class - The volunteer provides and extra set of eyes and hands to help the students with their sewing projects. Some sewing experience is helpful, but is not necessary as the teacher gives detailed instructions (you can learn with the class).
Cooking Class - A volunteer watches over the students while they measure ingredients and answers any questions the students may have as they prepare to cook.
Standarized Testing - Volunteers are needed to escort students to the restroom during the testing time and also to assist the classroom teacher as needed.
Conference Greeter - Welcome parents to our school on conference night and provide them with information on the conferences and the school layout.
Picture Day - Assist photographer when the students gather for their individual portraits.
Principal's Roundtable - Parents and the Principal meet to discuss what's going on at our school. OJH also needs parent representatives for various District committees. Interested individuals should attend an OJH Principal's Roundtable meeting.
