Woodland Elementary is the newest elementary building in District 279 serving 780 students in Pre-K to grade 5. We serve the academic needs of all our students through school-wide intervention and extension programs based on a Response to Intervention model. We positively impact behavior through restorative action as we encourage our community to be safe, own their actions, act with leadership, and to be resourceful. We build community through school-wide celebrations and sing-alongs, student service projects, buddy classrooms, WDTV live news broadcasts, Eagle Choir musical performances, student leadership, and PTO events and activities.
