Rice Lake Roadrunners model Respect, Learning, and Responsibility. Students at our school earn paper dots for making Rice Lake a better place through their choices and behavior. Dots are collected in the classroom. Each week, the classroom teacher chooses a Dot from the classroom bucket to respresent the classroom on our Dot Wall in the Music hallway. Weekly Dot winners are celebrated with a short celebration and recognition picture, one candy DOT, and a special sticker to wear home. Here's a sampling of some of our winners! Thank you for making your mark and making Rice Lake a better place! This idea was inspired by Peter Reynold's book, The Dot.
