At Rush Creek, we frame everything that we want our students to do under three big expectations, and we refer to them as Rocky’s Way:
By themselves, these are just words, but our staff has worked hard to unpack and articulate what each means and looks like in our building.
When a student needs to be reminded of our expectations, we try our best to talk with him or her quickly and openly. Sometimes, a talk may be more involved and may be done through our Behavior Intervention Teacher, Ms. Gwen Krutzig.
We believe that kids do better when they know better, and they know better when all the adults are on the same page teaching and reinforcing the same expectations.
