On Thursday, March 26 from 8 AM – 6:30 PM, please come to the school building to retrieve your student’s personal belongings and learning materials. Having these materials will ensure your child can engage in meaningful learning activities throughout this time. We will be following guidance around social distancing during this distribution to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and therefore parents and students will not be allowed to enter the building.
We have identified all families with students in grades K - 3 who do not have a sibling in grades 4 - 12. These students will receive an iPad and charging cord in their bag of belongings so that they may access online materials and their teachers’ office hours beginning March 30. As a district, we are working to ensure that every family has at least one device. These devices will be checked out to families and returned to school when distance learning is done.
Here is what you need to know for Pick Up Day:
- Parents and students will not be allowed to enter the building.
- Pull up to the front door. Please remain in your vehicle.
- Post a sign in your front window with the first and last name of your student(s), grade, and teacher
- A bag with the student’s belongings and iPads will be delivered directly to your vehicle.
We will be connecting with the families of over 500 students on Thursday, so please be patient with us throughout this process.
We know that each of you are experiencing this crisis differently and we hope you are doing everything you can to stay healthy and be well. Our hope is to continue to stay connected with you and our students to support them in our new format of distance learning.
Remember Pick Up Day is Thursday, March 26, from 8 am – 6:30 pm.
