Research shows that the study of a world language improves English vocabulary, reading skills, self concept, communication skills, creativity and cultural understanding. Furthermore, students entering the professional work force in the near future can also be assured that the world of the 21st century will be international in agriculture, finance, manufacturing and trade. Being able to communicate in a world language will contribute significantly in keeping doors open for students interacting in that world.
NOTE: Students are encouraged to research entrance and exit requirements at colleges and universities and plan their language study accordingly.
