I believe every student is capable of learning and it is my job to encourage all students on their journey to become inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

Why did you choose your profession?

Itís what Iím meant to do!† Teaching runs in my family- my grandparents, both of my parents, and a handful of my cousins are all in the education field. Plus I love learning and want to share that excitement with the students here at Park Center.

Advice for students going to college?

Be your own advocate! Itís up to you to ask your professors for help; they wonít hold your hand. Also, donít worry if you havenít chosen a major yet; take your time finding your passions and then follow your heart!

Biggest pet peeve?

People who are disrespectful, have negative attitudes, and think theyíre entitled to the best of everything without putting in the work to earn it.
