Where did you go to school and what is your previous job experience?
I went to the University of MN to get both my M.F.A. in Theatre Arts and Master’s of Education. Before coming to PCHS, I taught at Edison High School in Mpls.
When was your first year at Park Center?
What is your teaching philosophy?
I want to assist each student in achieving his /her fullest potential.
Why did you choose your profession?
I enjoy working with students with disabilities. They teach me about my own limitations and surprise me with insights I could not get without knowing them.
What is your favorite quote?
Gandhi’s: Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek, but a means at which we arrive at that goal.
In what room(s) can you commonly be found?
I am also a part time professional actor, trying to get work when I can-particularly during summers.
Advice for students going to college?
Be well rounded. Take classes outside your major solely for the reason to foster personal growth. You can always go to graduate school for to specialize in something.
Biggest pet peeve?
When people use personal attacks when debating a topic.
