Where did you go to school and what is your previous job experience?

My first career was cosmetology, then I worked in office jobs for a few years. From 2000-2002, I taught English, science, social studies, and art in Bratislava, Slovakia while coaching co-ed baseball. When I returned to the United States, I graduated from St Cloud State and then worked as a social studies teacher at Park Center from 2006-2008. From 2008-2009, I worked at Buffalo Lake-Hector High School teaching social studies. I am very happy to be back at Park Center!

Why did you choose your profession?

I love working with young people, I love learning, and I love social studies.

What is your favorite quote?

In what room(s) can you commonly be found?

In my office in the back of the Small Computer Lab in the Media Center or in Room 224.

Advice for students going to college?

Get involved while you are there. It’s a lot more fun.
