Where did you go to school and what is your previous job experience?

I attended Macalester College for my undergraduate degree, New York University and the University of Iowa for graduate programs.† Prior to working at Park Center I taught at Maple Grove and at Abraham Lincoln in Minneapolis (a school for refugee kids).† In addition to those teaching jobs, I have worked at several other (less enjoyable) professions, including delivering pizzas and waiting tables (though the latter Iíve done in 3 different countries)!

What is your teaching philosophy?

Education is the key to a fulfilling life after high school; everyone is capable of learning and contributing to the education of others; it is even possible to have fun while learning.

Why did you choose your profession?

I am interested in people; I enjoy having the opportunity to meet a wide variety of people in my work. †

In what room(s) can you commonly be found?

Iím in 214 all the time Ė it is easy to find me here before and after school. †

Biggest pet peeve?

Funny fonts and multiple exclamation points!!!

If you were required to find a different job than what you are currently doing, what would you choose?

A different job?† Thatís hard.† I would happily choose no job, however.
