When did you start working at Park Center?

March 2007, I was hired as a long-term Substitute for Sophie Munholland.

What is your teaching philosophy?

I believe my roll as an educator is to inspire students to think of their visual surroundings in a new and creative way.

Why did you choose your profession?

After all the jobs I’ve had over the years nothing seems more natural than teaching art.

What is your favorite quote?

“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today? Today is a gift that’s why they call it the present.”

Additional Comments(hobbies)?

Besides making art of all kinds I play guitar and sing in a folksy Bluegrass Band.

Advice for students going to college?

Make the most of it! It flys by.

People that refuse to try.
