New Minnesota Immunization Laws for Schools Begin September 2014

On Sept. 1, 2014, changes to Minnesota’s Immunization Law will take effect, which now requires that students be vaccinated with the Meningococcal Vaccine (MCV4) by grade 7. This new law has implications for our senior high students and especially for seniors who will be attending a college after graduation. Most colleges will require a MCV4 for enrollment. Medical and conscientious exemptions are still allowed under the law.

All students in grades 7 through 12 should get this vaccine. Please contact your clinic for an appointment.

Run, run, run just as fast as you can to Shrek the Musical at Park Center Senior High. While you may not be able to catch the Gingerbread Man, you’ll meet an ogre with layers, a princess ready to find true love’s first kiss and then take love’s true form, a never-stops-talking donkey, a love-sick dragon, a swamp full of fairytale creatures, and a villain with, shall we say, shortcomings. You’ll leave as a believer – in the power of love, the magic of friendship, and the knowledge that the things that make us special make us strong.

AP Test Registration

Although English Language, English Literature and AP Statistics are the only AP classes currently offered at Park Center High School, all students are eligible to take any of the AP exams listed on the schedule below. The main reason for taking AP exams is the possibility of obtaining college credit, which is usually awarded for scores of 3 or higher.

3rd Trimester Parking Permits

3rd Trimester Parking Permits will be sold from Monday, March 3rd through Friday, March 7th. The cost is $35. After Mar. 7th, the cost increases to $45. Application forms are available in the attendance office and online. Forms and money should be turned in to Ms. Hennen in the attendance office.
