The YMCA has supported Park Brook Elementary the past couple of years by allowing us to take students to their Coon Rapids location free-of-charge and assisting with our field day. Please clink on the link below to find other opportunities with the YMCA. While there is a charge for a number of activities, the YMCA offers scholarships for activities. Read more.
Park Brook Elementary has a Community Garden. If you would like to be a part of the community garden, just come and volunteer about a half-hour per week at your convenience to water and pull a few weeds. No need to worry about the schedule, volunteers are welcome. The garden is located on the west side of the building. Those who help can enjoy the fresh vegetables: broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, green peppers, jalapeno pepper, squash and more.
