Osseo Senior High is a 10-12th grade comprehensive public school that serves over 1,500 students. OSH offers over 190 different courses including 13 Advanced Placement (AP) and 6 high performance (HP) courses. Eighty-three percent of our teaching staff hold a master's degree or above and 90% of OSH graduates report plans to attend post-secondary education and training.
Osseo Senior is proud to host students from throughout the metro as part of the NWSISD Health Science Magnet program, and is the first high school in the nation to earn accreditation with the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) in the area of Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair.
The purpose of Osseo Senior High is to teach ALL students to: become successful learners, be responsible citizens and pursue personal fulfillment.
Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences
Fall 2014 Parent-Teacher conferences were held Tuesday, October 14th. Mid-trimester reports were sent home with students the same day.

OSH Welcomes Elm Creek 5th and 6th Graders
OSH welcomed 5th and 6th graders from Elm Creek Elementary to the 2014 Homecoming pepfest. The classes of 2021 and 2022 received a warm welcome and were included in the cheers, dances and giveaways. Pictured here are the students in their own Class of 2021 and 2022 section.
2014 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction
On September 26th during half time of the homecoming game, Osseo Senior High recognized six former athletes and coaches as the newest inductees into the Hall of Fame. The purpose of the Osseo High School Athletic Hall of Fame is to honor those people who have made a significant contribution to Osseo High School Athletics as a coach, player, administrator, or community member. The inductees include Kelly McConville, Ken Rasmussen, Kjersten Larson, Hana Peljito, Woody Ferry, and Dave Thorpe. For more information, click here: 2014 Athletics Hall of Fame Induction.

On October 10th, OSH Student Ambassadors participated in "Kindness in Chalk" as part of National Anti-Bullying Awareness Month to promote kindness. They spread messages of kindness on the sidewalks in front of the building and by the main gym.
Fall 2014 Activity Fair and Blood Drive
October 8th and 9th OSH Student Senate hosted it's fall activity fair. During lunches students were able to learn more about the variety of clubs and sports available at Osseo.
NHS Inducts 56 New Members
On Tuesday, September 30th, Osseo Senior High National Honor Society inducted 56 new members. Pictured here are the 90 members of the 2014-15 NHS.
Five OSH National Merit Program Commended Scholars
The National Merit Scholarship Program named five OSH students as Commended Scholars due to their success on the PSAT. Named were Mia Smutny, Danielle Seeger, Madeleine Miller, Emre Can, and Dong Bui. To qualify, these students had to rank in the top 50,000 highest scorers of the 1.5 million students who took the PSAT last October.
OSH Choir and Musical Students Sing National Anthem at Target Field
OSH musical and choir students sang the national anthem with 600 high school students at the September 22nd Minnesota Twins game.
OSH Vocal Music Program Chosen as part of MPR Choral Residency
Pictured above is Tesfa Wondemagegnehu, from Classical MPR with an OSH choir. Tesfa, from Classical MPR, visits OSH as Osseo has been selected to be a part of the MPR Choral Residency program for the 2014-15 school year. This campaign includes frequent visits by Mr. Wondemagegnehu ("Mr. Won") who was a nationally recognized choral teacher in Florida before taking a full-time job at MPR. He will work with students on vocal technique, classical music relevancy, as well as with Andrew Beard, director in professional development training and goal setting. The Mr. Beard and our choir students are excited for the opportunity.
