Osseo Senior High Artists Win Scholastic Art Awards
Fifteen Osseo Senior High artists were among a select group of high school students to receive 18 awards at the Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards. The Awards are open to all students in grades 7 through 12 from public, private and home schools throughout the state of Minnesota. This year the Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards saw a record number of submissions, with judges viewing nearly 4,500 works of art. At the regional level, approximately 5 – 7% of the works submitted receive Regional Gold Keys, 7-10 % receive Silver Keys and 10 – 15% receive Honorable Mentions. The works receiving silver and gold keys will be displayed at the Regis Art Center at the University of Minnesota.
