our story 001 Former Oak View student, Nahile Ali, was one of six students from the Osseo School District to be choosen to be a part of Students Connecting through International Service.    In April of 2017, Nahile along with students from Basswood, Edinbrook, Elm Creek, Park Brook and Rice Lake traveled to Sasabe, Sonora, Mexico to deliver school supplies they have been raising funds for throughout the school year.

For the last fourteen years, school supply drives in our district have made a big difference in the lives of these Mexican children, enabling some of them to attend school for the first time and allowing all of them to fully participate in school.  This service project also allows our students to develop a connections with the Sasabe students.
