The students and families of Maple Grove Senior High have been very much on our minds this week as the COVID-19 outbreak continues to impact life in our community. We miss seeing students every day and staff members have been working hard to ensure learning continues should extended flex learning be declared. We expect direction to come soon regarding school plans for March 30 and beyond. For all updates, please see our district website.
Crimson students are to collect any and all remaining materials from school on Thursday, March 26 (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) and Friday, March 27 (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) in order for them to fully engage in extended flex learning, if declared. This includes:
- Contents of school and gym lockers,
- Music instruments,
- Medications from the Nurse’s Office, and
- District-issued technology.
Students should enter through Door A and proceed through the Front Lobby.
During pick-up, students are to:
- Practice good hygiene,
- Keep at least six feet of distance between themselves and others, and
- Move quickly and efficiently to empty their lockers and collect their items.
**If any student is sick or would prefer to remain at home, please stay home. Your health and well-being is the priority! Crimson staff members will carefully collect, label and store any locker items which remain after March 27 until a later date.
It is our sincere hope that students may return to school as soon as possible. If anything changes, students and families will be notified immediately. On behalf of every staff member of Maple Grove Senior High, we continue to be grateful for your support, patience and partnership through this unprecedented time.
