Hi, my name is Mrs. Kampa and welcome to my web page.  Physical Education is a very important segment of the total elementary school curriculum.  The Physical Education period is an instructional session, with emphasis on activity.   We are very excited for another school year.  There are many fun activities planned for Physical Education and Developmental/Adapted Physical Education.  You can contact me by calling (763-420-8888) or emailing me at This email address is being protected from spambots. PHYSICAL EDUCATION:
Physical Education encompasses the development of the total child through cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains of learning.

*Psychomotor: Fitness, perceptual, and fundamental motor skills.
*Cognitive: Knowledge, understanding, and application of information.
*Affective: Positive self-image, acceptance of others, and group interaction.

The aim is to enhance motor skills and basal knowledge and to provide the social interaction necessary for a daily and life long foundation. In essence, the purpose of physical education is to encourage development of the total wellness of all individuals: physically, intellectually, and socially. The theme areas of the curriculum include body control, fitness, striking, receiving, and propelling. These themes will develop skills that can and will be applied in a variety of contexts.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS RULES:

  1. Wear Tennis shoes everyday!
  2. Be a good Listener and Follow Directions
  3. Be Respectful
  4. Be Safe
  5. 100% Participation everyday!
