About Brooklyn Middle School
Brooklyn Middle STEAM School: Engineering a Global Perspective offers a school-wide STEAM model that provides a path for middle school students in both Arts and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Students have opportunities for arts or engineering coursework through project-based learning. Students have the opportunity to practice real-world experiences with scientists, engineers, mathematicians, musicians, artists, and technical professionals.
Brooklyn Middle is a member of the Northwest Suburban Integration School District (NWSISD) magnet school program.
NWSISD is a collaborative of seven area school districts in the northwest metro providing schools and communities with a variety of programs and services to promote racial equity and cultural awareness. The seven member districts of NWSISD include Anoka-Hennepin School District, Brooklyn Center Schools, Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools, Elk River Area School District, Fridley Public Schools, Osseo Area Schools, and Rockford Area Schools.
To enroll:
- If you live within Brooklyn Middle’s attendance area: Enroll through the Osseo Area Schools Enrollment Center.
- If you live elsewhere within the Osseo School District OR in one of the eight NWSISD member districts (see list below): Apply online to enroll through Northwest Suburban Integration School District. Admission is contingent on space availability.
- If you live in a non-NWSISD-member district: Apply for open enrollment. Admission is contingent on space availability.
